Despite its successful transformation the main house is not a very large home, and with beautiful beaches of the Central Coast just a few hundred meters away, it makes perfect sense to increase the number of family and friends we can host there at once. Adding the granny-flat has always been a logical development. 

The overall size of the block of land is about 650 m2 and fortunately the main house was built off-centre on it, which makes the back yard large enough to add a 'granny flat' on it. A great feature of this block is that it has access to two streets, which gives the Guest House its own driveway and private access. Fantastic right?

The plan was to achieve a comfortable two-bedrooms house with spacious living room all within a total of 60 square metres. It sounds small, doesn’t it? Well, it doesn’t have to be…
